These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Dunner (the “Service”), operated by Dunner (“Dunner,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Dunner is a tool that helps you recover unpaid invoices by automatically sending escalating follow-up communications (email, and SMS where available) to your clients, providing online payment links, and generating document templates. Dunner is a software tool only — we are not a collections agency, law firm, or financial institution, and we do not collect debts on your behalf.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service.
You are solely responsible for the content you upload and the communications Dunner sends on your behalf. You agree that:
You retain ownership of your data. You grant Dunner a limited license to process and transmit that data solely to provide the Service.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. We may change our prices with reasonable notice; changes apply to the next billing cycle.
You may cancel at any time from Settings → Plan & Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access until then. Dunner never takes a percentage of the invoices you recover.
Dunner does not process payments from your clients. You provide your own payment link (for example a Stripe Payment Link, PayPal, or your invoicing tool's pay page), and Dunner simply includes it in your reminders. Any payment is handled entirely by that third-party provider under their terms, and you are responsible for any fees they charge. Dunner never receives or stores your clients' payment details.
Dunner's document generators, including the small claims PDF, produce general-purpose templates for your convenience. They do not constitute legal advice, and Dunner is not a law firm. Court requirements vary by jurisdiction. You are responsible for verifying that any document is accurate, complete, and appropriate for your situation. Consult a licensed attorney before relying on any generated document.
You may not: reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service; use it to send spam or unlawful content; resell or sublicense it without our written permission; or use it in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service or interfere with other users.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular invoice will be recovered. Email and SMS delivery depends on third parties and is not guaranteed.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dunner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold Dunner harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, your communications with clients, or your violation of these Terms or any law.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete your data after a reasonable retention period.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
